Inside the Times Square McDonalds there are murals all over the walls.

This one is of the statue of liberty.

Los Angeles - Walk up to McDonalds

At this McDonalds, you walk up to the window to place your order instead of going into a restaurant. You can then eat standing up or go sit down in the undercover area next door.

Las Vegas - View from the top

The view from the Stratosphere. It's amazing to see this city from up here. The suburbs spread out from the strip then you just see desert up to the hills.

Watching the sunset was magic.

Las Vegas - Stratosphere

The stratosphere tower at the end of the Las Vegas Strip. There are 4 rides and an observation deck at the top. Many people enjoy having a coffee and watching the sun set.

New York - Today show host

This is inside studio 1A of the Today show. This is Katie Couric and it was hard to take with all the floor staff in the way.

Los Angeles - Shuttles

When you leave the airport, you need to find transportation. Many of the shuttles you have to pay for, but at this section the hotel shuttles pick you up. If you stay there, the hotel shuttle will pick you up for free (you still have to tip of course).

These shuttles spend their day going around and around the same circuit.

Las Vegas - MGM Grand

This is the side entrance to the MGM Grand. There is a giant screen over this entrance which is very bright and shows events at the MGM.

New York - Al Roker

The man on the left in the hat is the weather presenter on the Today show. His name is Al Roker.

Los Angeles - Futuristic restaurant

This a resturant in the heart of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). When I first saw it I knew I had really arrived in America.

Las Vegas - MGM Grand

This was taken from the driveway of the San Remo where I stayed in Las Vegas. The MGM grand is down one end of the strip and is the starting point of the new main monorail.

They have a lion enclosure where you can go through a glass tunnel and the lions can sit on top where you can see them.

New York - Today show set up

This is around 6am in the morning outside the Today show studio. The tv monitor in the middle can be moved around to give the presenters cues on what is happening.

It had just started to rain which would later turn to snow. I would watch this show in Australia every work day morning.
